and the farm grows

Just had our second batch of bunnies. My 6yr. Old son bought two newzeeland whites at a local auction. Had a litter in November he sold 6 at another local auction for $6.50 each. Hatched 25 baby chicks in the incubator and the goats are growing well. Cows and dogs just keep doing there thing. And the garden is waiting for spring.

Congratulations. How many kits did you get from your rabbits? Given its the second round, you'd hope to get maybe 8 or 9? My biggest kindle was 13, but they were all pretty small so only 8 survived. It was pretty exciting seeing them all on the first day, though.

When I was raising rabbits I rarely got more than 6-7 in a batch. They are fun to watch grow for sure. All of my rabbits died 2 winters ago for some unknown reason and I havent gotten anymore since, but I am itching to get more soon.
